In the 2016 T20 world cup against England, he scored 100 runs with the help of 11 sixes, making him the batsman with the most number of sixes in T20 world cup history. 

Chris Gayle is also the person with the second highest sixes in a single innings  of the T20 world cup with ten sixes.

Apart from Gayle, the former Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh is in third place with seven sixes in an innings .
