Former Sri Lankan right-arm off-break bowler Muttiah Muralitharan is leading the list of ODI cricket wicket-takers. He has taken 500 ODI wickets more quickly than any other bowler. Over the course of his career, from 1993 to 201, Muralitharan took 534 wickets in 350 games with an average of 23.08. 

Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis are the 2nd and 3rd top bowlers to capture most wickets in ODI cricket.

Wasim Akram’s career spans from 1984 to 2003, and he has taken 502 wickets in 356 games with an average of 23.52.

 380 wickets were taken by Brett Lee in 221 matches during his career from 2000 to 2012 with an average of 23.36. 

His best performance came against India in 2008 when he took 5 wickets by giving 22 runs in his spell.

His best performance was 6/12 against West in 1994.
