From 11 February 2005 to 30 October 2005, the South African team won 12 matches in a row which is the world record for the second-most number of victories consecutively in the history of the One Day International.

Pakistan has the record for the third most consecutive wins in the ODI format in the history of Cricket.
From 18 November 2007 to 8 June 2008, the Pakistani team won 12 matches in a row, the world record for the third most victories consecutively in the history of the One Day International.
During this period, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh 6 times consecutively, followed by Zimbabwe 5 times. Apart from these two, Pakistan also beat India one time.

From 25 September 20216 to 19 February 2017, the South African team won 12 matches in a row, the world record for the fourth most victories consecutively in the history of the One Day International.
