1. Jan Zelezny (Czech Republic)

Jan Zelezny is undoubtedly the best player in the game of Javelin throw to date. His record of javelin throw of 98.48 meters in 1996 at the Jena Zeiss Meeting is still one of the highest world records of Javelin throw. Apart from this record, Zelezny has also achieved many other world records. 

Jan Zelezny won gold in the Olympic games in 1992, 1996, and 2000. He has also won three World Championship championships in the years 1993, 1995, and 2001. His achievements and records speak highly about the kind of player he was and Jan is still one of the best inspirations.

2. Johannes Vetter (Germany)

Johannes Vetter has second spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He has a record of  97.76 metres in 2020 at the Skolimowska Memorial tournament. This record is his best record to date. Vetter has also played remarkably well in the IAAF World Championships and Summer Olympics. However, he did miss out on winning gold or silver in these games. But he made his comeback with the javelin throw of 89.57m mark at 2016 ISTAF Berlin.

3. Thomas Rohler (Germany)

Thomas Rohler is on the third spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He recorded 93.90m in 2017 at Doha IAAF Diamond League. This is the best Javelin throw record by Thomas Rohler in his career. Rohler has also been fantastic in winning the German National Championship in the years 2012, 2013, and 2015.

4. Aki Parviainen (Finland)

Aki PARVIAINEN has the fourth spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He made a world record with a throw of 93.09m in 1999 at the Kuortane Midsummer Games. Aki also won gold and silver at the 1999 World Athletics Championships and the 2001 World Championships respectively. He was a very good player but due to the unfortunate incident of his injury, he retired.

5. Anderson Peters (Grenada)

Anderson PETERS  has the fifth spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He set a record for the javelin throw of 93.07m in 2022 at the Doha Diamond League. Anderson has participated in many championships and made remarkable records. He also won a bronze medal at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships.

6. Julius Yego (Kenya)

Julius Yego has the sixth spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He started playing in the javelin throw competitions representing as a Kenyan track and field competitor. Julius Yego is famously regarded as “Mr YouTube” as it was the source of his javelin throw learnings. He made a record in the javelin throw of 92.72m in 2015 at the IAAF World Championships.

7. Sergey Makarov (Russia)

Sergey Makarov has the seventh spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He is a former legendary Russian javelin thrower and has participated in many championships. Sergey made a world record javelin throw of 92.61m in 2002 at the Sheffield Norwich Union Classic. Moreover, he played for many years but failed to mark a significant success in his career. But in 2003 Sergey Makarov at 30 years became the World Champion in javelin throw.

8. Raymond Hecht (Germany)

Raymond Hecht has the eighth spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He made a record in the javelin throw of  92.60 meters in 1995 at the Oslo Bislett Games. Raymond has also participated in many championships and has achieved many records and accolades. He won a bronze medal at the 1998 European Championships.

9. Andreas Hofmann (Germany)

Andreas Hofmann has the ninth spot in the list of all-time Javelin throw world records. He has a record of 92.06m in the javelin throw at the Offenburg Speerwurfmeeting in world records. Andreas Hofmann has also participated in the German track and field competition. He also has competed in World Championships and made some amazing records.

10. Konstadinos Gatsioudis (Greece)

Konstadinos Gatsioudis has the tenth spot in the list of Javelin throw world records. This player was also a former Greek track and field competitor. But he also started playing javelin throw and made some outstanding records. Konstadinos Gatsioudis made a record javelin throw of 91.69 meters in 2000 at Kuortane. Not only this but he also made national records seven times in his career.
