The former star batsman from New Zealand, Brendon McCullum has the highest individual score in the T20 world cup.

In the 2012 T20 world cup against Bangladesh, McCullam scored 123 runs in 58 balls with a strike rate of 212.06.  

He scored these runs by hitting four boundaries and seven sixes in the innings.

Chris Gayle from the West Indies and Alex Hales from England are in the second and third spots, totaling 117 and 116, respectively.
